The BBC has, perhaps with some justification been criticised for ignoring Scots. Billy Kay’s ground-breaking television series The Mother Tongue dates back to 1986, although it was updated and rebroadcast in radio format as The Scots Tongue in 2016. This is the first part, uploaded recently.
